Mike Davis is very content in his successful real estate practice, where he lists and sells homes in and around The Woodlands.
In addition to working in The Woodlands, Davis lives there in the village of Creekside Park with his wife Monique and their two sons. Davis said living in The Woodlands and working there were the best decisions he ever made.
“I Love The Woodlands. It has everything to offer people, from restaurants, shopping, medical facilities and much more,” said Davis.
A native Houstonian who grew up in the Memorial area, Davis is comfortable selling homes all over greater Houston, which is helpful when he is working with relocation clients. His specialization covers neighborhoods from northwest Houston to The Woodlands, Cypress and the Lake Conroe area, including Spring and Tomball.
Davis, who is relocation certified, has worked with many people relocating into and out of greater Houston. And with ExxonMobil’s announcement it will move to a new complex on a 385-acre, wooded site at the intersection of I-45 and Hardy Toll Road, Davis said ExxonMobil’s employees are searching for homes in The Woodlands and other nearby areas.
One of the benefits for clients working with Davis is his knowledge of the construction and finishes in homes. Before starting his real estate practice, he sold building materials and held a record for having sold 6,000 mahogany front doors in one year.
“If I see a problem in a home’s construction that needs to be addressed, I will inform my clients and let them decide if they want to proceed in purchasing the home. And when my clients are the sellers, I also will point out flaws in the construction of their home so it can be taken into consideration prior to a sale,” said Davis, who stays in close contacts with his clients throughout their transactions.
“I’ve always told selling clients if a home is in good condition and priced right, it will sell. One of the best things I can do for sellers is market their home well.
Davis is at the stage in his career where much of his business is derived from referrals and repeat business from clients, which is a direct result from the excellent service he performs for all of his clients.
